3 Queen Beauty.—The usual fortnightly retorting for the Queen of Beauty ( took place on Saturday at thoir own battery. Owing to an accident to the machinery, which caused the stoppage of ( 5 head of stampers, the crushing was not I so complete as usual, but the return (2800z3 lOdwts) is a good payable one. The accident consisted of the breaking of the cam shaft. This will be repaired . to-day, but crushing will also be resumed with 10 head of stampers at the Piako battery. Queen of the May.—The usual fortnightly retorting for the Queen of the May Company took place on Saturday, tho result being 2260zs 18dwts gold. There wero only 14 head of stampers employed. Piako G.M. Co.—Another fortnight's crusbiog for the Piako G.M. Co. has resulted in a yield of 1620zs gold. This is the return from 11 days' crushing with 20 head of stampers. The average is much better than that of the last crushing, but it has not yet met expectations. Bed White and Blub.—Tho trihuters of the lied White and Blue mine (Green and parly) obtained 60ozs lOJwts gold at the Moanataiari battery on Saturday, as tho result of 14 days' crushing with 5 head of stampers. Little Agnes.-The shareholders of the Little Agnes claim banked lGlozs 12dwts gold, value for £3 9s per ounce, as the result of a fortnight's crushing with 15 head of stampers at the Missouri battery.
