(FEOII OUE OWN CORRESPONDENT,) . Cobomandel, Saturday. Wavebly G.M.C.—This company has just been formed for the purpose of working the ground formerly known as' the Three Brothers licensed holding. A contract has been let for continuing the drive to cut the reef, a distance of about 80 feet. This, will give about 90 feet of backs oh the reef below the block stoped down by the late owners, who failed in the development of the mine through mismanagement. The block formerly worked and stoped out is 80 feet in length by 90 feet, which yielded considerably over 3ozs to the ton all through. It will now shortly be proved whether tho lower block will prove equally auriferous to the benefit of the present proprietors. The E.M. was occupied the whole of the day trying some very intricate ques r tions. The introduction of two lawyers into Coromandel appeared to excite the interest of the people; and there was a larger attendance of visitors at Court than is usually the case here. , Koyal Oak Mine.—Manager reports for the week', opening further on the left hand branch of No. 3 reef, and also on the Little and Good, reef.
