Tradesman's Plate: Mr McGee's Perfume, syrs, Bst 121bs, Ist; Mr Quinlan's Polly Plum, aged, 7st lOlbs, 2nd; La Belle, 3yrs, 7st 131b, 3rd. Perfume won easily. Hurdle Eaco: 2 miles. Mr McGees Perfume, 9st 121b, Ist; Mr Buckland s Mystery, 4yrs, 9st 71b, 2nd; Mr Gallery's Gladstone, aged, list 71bs, 3rd. l'eception and Medea also started._ Perfume took very kindly to tho timber, and scored a clever win. faster Handicap: Onemiloand a-hali. Mr Walter's Isaao Walton, 3yrs, Bst, Ist; Mr Young's Bedouin, syrs, 7st 61b, 2nd; May Moon, 7st 61b, 3rd. Eclipse, Belle, and Deception also started. It was a good race, won by half a length. Mr Brown, clerk of the courso, was thrown from his horse aud had a narrow escape. , „ Arrived: H.M.S, 'Barracouta, from Fiji. A high wind is blowing from the northeast.
