Auckland, Wednesday. A Provincial Gazette issued to-day notifies that the Improvement Commissioners will sell leases of allotments for 99 years on the 2nd of May. A telegram from Eussell states that a large vessel passed this morning. No doubt it is the' Pearl' from Sydney.
In banco to-day, Tapp v. Purchas was again postponed. In Buclioltz v. Meyers the rule was .enlarged. Arrived: 'Blanche,' schooner, from Earotonga, and' Searip,' from Sydney. Cutler and son were thrown out oi : an express cart in Kyber Pass Road by . a wheel catching the trunk of a tree. Both were injured, but not seriously. Hastings, Wednesday.
The last crushing of 12| tons from the Bullion yielded 2|ozs of gold. The Crown Jewels' men are bulloeking quartz to the Golden Point battery. Buckland's machino is crushing for tho Great Extended. A driving dam is being built up the Gentle Annje creek, This will probably assist Iho sluicers in discovering the reef in that locality.
