DIVISION OF PROFITS. —The surplus of profit is ordered by the Act of 1871 to be Divided - iMONQ Poiiomioiders ohly, and is to be ascertained every fifth year, The first investigation, with a view to division of profits, is to be made on the 30th June, 1880. PREMIUM RATES ARE LOWER than the participating rates of Private Companies, to an extent which is equivalent to a bonus in advance of from 15 to 20 per cent. PAYMENT OF PREMIUMS,—Ihe pay-, ments may be made during the whole term of life, or during a limited period only, at an invariable annual, half-yearly, quarterly, or weekly premium. INDUSTRIAL BRANCH,—WeekIy premiums can only be paid ou Policies issued in the Industrial Branch, which is at present confined to members of Registered Friendly So- 1 cieties and Good Templars, Forms of application and full particulars can he obtained on application to Mr J. STAMP FEE ACT, 1875. Head Office, Staiup Department, 20th March, 1876. NO t ICE is hereby given that the provisions of "The Stamp Fee Act, 1875," will be brought into operation in the offices of the District Courts throughout the colony, on the Ist April proximo. .After that date all duties, fees, fines,' and penalties hitherto payable to Clerks of District Courts in cash, must be paid by means of stamps, impressed or adhesive, as prescribed by the regulations made in pursuance of the said Act, aud no cash will thereafter be received for any such fees, lie. Stocks of Law Court Stamps may be obtained from the Deputy Commissioners of Stamps and from Depositaries in places where sittings of the District Courts are held. Forms of Summons, Subpoena, &c,, will be impressed at the Head Office for Solicitors and others, on receipt of Requisition D and Bank receipt for the amount less the authorised discount, together with the forms required to be stamped.
