(FEOM OUE OWN COBBEBPONDENTS.) " - Auckland, Tuesday. An extraordinary general meeting of the Tairua Company was held to-day to pass a series of resolutions requiring the winding-up of the company, tho appoint-? ment of liquidators, &c. The resolutions were severally carried, and ,the following gentlemen were appointed liquidators of the company:—Gaptaia Burton, Messrs Joseph Howard, G, S. Graham, and G. Winter.. The liquidators were authorised to sell the property of the company to a new company, entitled the "Tairua Prospectors' .Gold Mining Company." An amendment was proposed by Mr Ehrenfried, of the Thames, and seconded. •An angry discussion , took placo, and some tecriminations were exchanged, The amendment was subsequently, lost. Mr Bowe addressed the meeting and gave a glowing account of the mine. In ''Antonio Marco's stabbing case 1 .to-day John Locke deposed to witnessing .the prisoner Bush at Williamson's, and hearing the .latter cry " I'm stabbed." Dr Philaon's evidence showed that' it is scarcely possible the man can recover. The left lung was perforated, and hectio fever had set in. Wm. Kelly and Andrew Carr corroborated Locke's evidence. A lad named Jackson deposed that he picked up the knife. Williamson's depositions were put in evidence; and the accused was fully committed for trial. Inspector Broham said the Government would refund the witness's expenses.' : Sailed: ' Colima' and' Hawea' for the South.. .' ". ■
