THE COLIBAN GOLD MININGCOMPANY.

■ To the Editor oE the THAMES ADVERTISES. ■■ ■ Sin,--I sco by, this morning's Advertiser that we have got almost a'fresh board, of directors in the Coliban Gold .Mining Company. I think this time the' shareholders have made a good choice, and from the class that they have elected, the public, will have jnore confidence in speculating in the liiine than they have had for some time jjast. • I hope that the present directors will endeavour to obtain the services of an experienced and honest .mine manager, one above trafficking in the shares of company he manages, or endeavouring to dupe the public by a false cry of rich gold and heavy dividends to shareholders, such' as we have had from our mine manager in times gone by, when our shares' l , went up, from two shillings to eleven and thirteen shillings per share. I remember the time, unfortunately, too well, when .. _ . came down to town seemingly • very excited, and. telling , his friends that they had struck very rich gold in the Colibaii, he having at that time placed his shares for sale in the hands of his;mate, his mate ; being a director in the company. I believe in speaking of the past so that our present directors may know that we, the shareholders, have our eyes upon them, and if they act the same as some members of the late board did, predetermined to expose tbem. I believe' that many dividends will be paid.' to shareholders under tho present management.—l am, Ac,, ADupb.
