NOTICE.. . _ Tuß-attention of Executors, Administrators, Legatees, and Successors, is called to the provisions of " The Stamp Duties Act, 1866,' which require:—. 1. That Executors and Administrators shall in the case of all legacies, annuities, or residues paid by:them, furnish to the Stamp Office full acounts of such payments, and shall p*y the ' duty assessed thereon u ithin sixty days thereafter ; and in the case of legacies, annuities, or residues retained in, trusi, shall before any such retainer furnish to the Commissioneis full particulars thereof,, and 'shall' pay the duty % ; -.- assessed thereon within fourteen days of such '■' assessment; and shall fumi.-h accounts of-all ; successions under any will or estate executed or C administered by them, so soon as the successor shall b.ecme beneficially ent tied thereto. 2. APPLICATION has bcea made by Jmbs Macuy for a LICBMSE to coustruct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing • at a point on the Creek passing through the Prospectors' and •jux Claims, abuut the point where it crosses the Prospectors' northern boundaryrand receiving the discharge from the three Races previously applied for from the Creek east of the Prospectors' in its course, and terminating at a point on the sideling about two miles below tho Prospectors northern boundary. The length of-such Race is two inite3 or thereabouts, and its intended course is eastward of north. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is two 'feet by one foot. It h capable of carrying live s!uicehead3 of water, and the number of sluice-heads it is intended to appropriate is live. NOTICE is therefore given, that o.n the Bth day of June, 1575, a License will be granted .to the said Jamks Mackv for the abvedescribed Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made iu writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that dale. •. - ■ W.
