POSITION OF RESIDENT ENGINEER, The question of the appointment of a resident engineer to supervise the New Plymouth harbour improvement scheme was under review at tho monthly meeting of the Harbour Board on Friday. There were about 12 applications for the ’ position\ before the meeting, but the final appointment will not be-maUc for some Uays yet.
