METHODIST CHURCH.
CHRISTMAS TREE AND BAZAAR,
The Methodists of Pitzroy are holding a Christmas tree and bazaar this afternoon and the proceeds being in aid of the building fund. The various stalls are well stocked with (roods, which should find, a ready sale, whilst the Christmas tree is heavily laden with a great variety of things which will delight the children. ■ The function was opened by Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P. ' The stallholders are as follows:—" Plain goods.—Mesdames S. Bundle, F. Andrews, Simmons and Coutts. Fancy goods.—Mesdames Area and M'Dougall and Miss E. Fenwick. Sweets.—Misses Coutts, V. Fenwick, Jij, Bray and E. Andrews. ■ Produce. —Mesdames Kibby and H. Hail. „ . „ ' Cakes and confectionery.—Mesdames Martin, Holden and r%stney. The Christmas tree and .bran tub are in charge of Bible class girls with Mrs. Hall as convenor, whilst Master Holden and Misses Pepperill and Holden have charge of the ice-cream stall. The afterffoon tea and, supper arrangements* are in charge/of Mesdames 11. Pepperill and Fenwick, assisted by a willing band of helpers. The” function will be continued this evening from 7 o’clock.
