TRADE WITH DOMINIONS,
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. LONDON, Nov. 16. The Tariff Commission, m a menmranclum dealing with the , quantities rather than tile values of British exports, emphasise the decline compared with before the ,war. Mr. Stanley Machin, president of -the London Chamber of Commerce, interviewed, said the shrinkage affected both the Dominions’ and foreign trade. The prohibition of shipments of gold from Australia created an unfortunate state of affairs in the Anglo-Australian market, and had the effect of holding up an Enormous number of Australian orders. If the present conditions were not remedied early they would seriously injure Australian trade.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
