SIR THOMAS MACKENZIE.

RETURN TO NEW ZEALAND. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 16. Sir Thomas Mackenzie, ex-High Commissioner /or Now Zealand, reached Wellington on board the Romuera today. He and other passengers did not get ashore until after 8 o’clock. After retiring from the High Commissionership, Sir Thomas accepted a trade mission to the United States on behalf of the New Zealand Government, and he has a report to present to the Government. In the course of a brief conversation to-night, he indicated that he w'ould have something to say shortly regarding New Zealand produce .and other matters of interest to' the people of this country. It was too early to speak of his own plans. He expected to be in Wellington for a few days, and ho would then go South.
