Sir,—Will you once more grant mo the use of your valuable, columns .to make an appeal, to the good people of this tfiwn and the country districts for subscriptions and donations to help carry on the work of the Plunket Society. I think I need hardly dwell in detail upon this work, which 1 Dr. Truby King, 'our own townspian, has so firmly established throughout the Dominion.’ The society appeals;'.-but once a year-and-asks for a sh&re of-tho public -support as the nurses’ services are free to all; both rich andv '.poor alike.'
