CLUB-HOUJsE COMMITTEE,

A meeting of the club-house committee of the New Plymduth Returned Soldiers’ Association was held on Monday night. Captain Mac Diarmid was in the chair, and there were also present*: Messrs. A. L. Picard, W. Eoch, A, Osborne, S. Higgs, Hal. Davis, and O. West (secretary). The action of the president in postponing the social evening which was to have been tendered to the ladies’ committee and all helpers cori&eeted with the annual ball from November 19 until November 26 was cdHfirmed, Several alterations were made to the terms of engagement of the club manager, and other clauses were deleted from the list of duties. It was decided that visiting financial members of other branches of the association should be allowed the use of the club and, its privileges if or one month. The club manager is to be requested to. report to the club-house committee ■if there is habitual' use of the club by unfinancial members, . -
