' AN EXTENSIVE SCHEME. MR. BLAIR MASON TO REPORT. i Per Press Association. WHAKATANE, Nov. 16. Desiring a plan for the future, the Whakataufe Harbour .Board received a report from its own engineer (Mr. Adams) regarding a, deep water harbour. The scheme provides for a minimum of 35 feet of water, to berth a vessel 600 feet in length, and to provide ultimate accommodation for ten oversea 12,000 ton vessels, in addition to improved coastal shipping facilities. Mr. Blair. Mason has been invited to report on the scheme.
