TO RIGHT WRONGS.
DEVOLUTION NOT THE .WAY,
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.
LONDON, Nov. t. Mr, J. H. Thomas, M.P. (the railwaymen’s leader), speaking at Hull, said the majority ot the railwayman's delegates favoured a strike to assist the miners, but he opposed it because such a step would lead to a social and bloody revolution. He did not believe social wrongs could be removed by a bloody upheaval. The country was never in a more dangerous position and the mass of the population did not know how near the precipice we were. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
