EXCITEMENT IN DUBLIN
MILITARY MAKE RAIDS

LONDON, Oct. 25. Exciting scenes occurred in Dublin to-day in consequence of numerous military raids. Armed soldiers occupied the Mansion House, and hotels and private houses were raided. Shots wore exchanged. One soldier was wounded. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
REPUBLICAN FUNDS LOW
LONDON, Oct. 25. The Daily Mail states that the funds of tho Irish terrorists aro running short, and the activities of the Government forces aro causing resignations from tho republican army, many of whose leaders arc on tho run, their upkeep and the upkeep of their dependents involving a heavy strain on the republic funds. A Sinn Fein Boy Scout movement is being used as a mask for training lads in a policy of outrage. Scouts have committed many acts of incendiarism. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn,
