OPERATIONS EXTENDING. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. COPENHAGEN, pci. 22. Messages from' Kovno state that Zclignowski’s army at Vilna has been reinforced, and now consists of six divisions. It is now anticipated that Zelignowski will advance against Kovno. Ho points out that it will be right to occupy western Lithuania.
The Poles arc concentrating important forces between Suwalki and the German frontier, and the Lithuanians fear tho Poles will advance against the Memo! district on the pretext that Lithuania intends to form an alliance with Germany, but the Lithuanians state tho rumours of an alliance are groundless.— Aus.-N.Z.
