WEANGEL EXPLAINS A MOVE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. LONDON, Sept. 10. General Wrangol, in a statement to a Russian newspaper, said that in view of the change in the attitude of tho Allied Powers, and the victory of tho .Poles, he must concentrate his forces nerth of the province of Taurida to enable them to act in a direction west. “In consequence of this,” General Wrangel said, “Vic are evacuating the Kuban region, where our troops, far from having suffered defeat, have beaten two Red divisions, captured 9000 prisoners and eight guns, and have increased our effective forces two and a half times.”—Reuter Service.
