There has been an astonishing sequel to the recent revelations concerning the Daily Herald and its alleged support by the Bolsheviks. The Daily Herald announceg that Mr. Francis Mcynell, one of its directors, received from the Bolsheviks during his visit to Russia in 1919, and Tie still holds this money, which tho Daily Herald asks its readers if the newspaper may accept. If the money is refused it will be necessary to double the price of the newspaper. Trade Union shareholders have also been consulted as to whether the £75,000 should be accepted.—Aus.-N.Z.
