DIVORCE COURT.

UNDEFENDED CASES. A sitting of tho Divorce Court was liekl on Thursday evening, before his Honour Mr. Justice Salmond, when Jane Craig (Mr. P. O’Uca) petitioned for the dissolution of her marriage with James Craig, on tho ground of desertion and failure to maintain. Petitioner, stated she was married at a registry office in Kensington, London, in 1892, and lived with her husband until 1905, whom lie came out to New Zealand. Respondent was addicted to drink, and witness thought ho might reform in a new country. She came out to him at his request in 1908, but’found ho had no home for her, and his drinking habits were worse than when in England. Since 1905 she had received no support from her husband. Sho had been employed in Lady Plunket's household until the latter returned Homo. Sho believed respondent was in Australia., A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in throe months, with costs on the lowest scale against respondent.
