RIFLE SHOOTING.

The rifle match between , the New Plymouth and Waitara Chibs on the Rewa Rowa range took place on Thursday in difficult weather owing to tho high wind, yet generally speaking, the scoring was very fair. A t tho conclusion of the match the visiting team was entertained to afternoon tea by the New Plymouth Club. The following are tho scores; NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Riflemen. 500 600 tl. Member Short ... 38 33 71 • Total 621 The new Plymouth Club had one man over the number of the team, and on drawing lots Junior Member Govcnlook (43, 39, total 82) proved the odd man out.
