WHEN PREMIERS CONFER.

AMERICA ALSO INTERESTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received August 20, 9.5 a.in.) NEW YORK, August 18. It is understood at AVashington that Mr. Lloyd George will cross the Atlantic in October to meet the Premiers of the British Dominions bordering the Pacific for a conference, , probably at Vancouver, on the subject of the renewal of the Anglo-Japanese pact in 1921. It is believed that Mr. Lloyd George during his stay in Canada will be invited to visit Washington and it is pointed out that there are innumerable questions of British and American interest which a personal conference between President Wilson and Mr. Lloyd George, lasting an hour, would do more to settle than diplomatic exchanges lasting weeks.
