" A deputation from the Retail Chemists 1 Association waited on tho University Council and protested against the proposal of the-Now Zealand Pharmacy Board to establish a school of pharmacy in on tho ground of hardship to candidates outside that centre. The deputation stated that if provision was m«»!o for a pharmacy examination in Auckland, 60 members would attend the university yearly. The chairman tthe Hon. Mr. Fowldsi assured tho deputation of the council’s sympathy. Tho council would see what could be done.
