RUN O'ER lib MOTOR ’BUS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 11. Sydney E. AVright, aged 18 years, a sergeant-major artificer in the R.N.Z.A. «as knocked down by a motor ’bus at Dovonport to-night and killed, 'fhe deceased was a married man with three children, and had been in tho forces for 24. years. THE RESULT OF A FIGHT. AUCKLAND, June 11. At an inquest into the death of David John Stanley, a waterside worker. who was injured in a fracas on the central wharf on April 19, and who died in hospital on A!ay 14, it was stated Unit the deceased was .struck on tho head by a seaman of foreign nationality, who was seen standing over the deceased, who was prostrate. Tho deceased staled that lie had been struck on the head with a bottle. A verdict was returned that Stanley died ns a result of an abscess of the brain, tho result of a blow from a man who has not been identified.
