At an inquest into the death of David John Stanley, a waterside worker. who was injured in a fracas on the central wharf on April 19, and who died in hospital on A!ay 14, it was stated Unit the deceased was .struck on tho head by a seaman of foreign nationality, who was seen standing over the deceased, who was prostrate. Tho deceased staled that lie had been struck on the head with a bottle. A verdict was returned that Stanley died ns a result of an abscess of the brain, tho result of a blow from a man who has not been identified.
