In the House of Commons, questioned in regard to the reported offensive against the Bolsheviks by General Wrangel, Mr. LloydXGeorge stated that the Government had clearly informed General Wrangel that Britain would not be responsible for his army if he undertook an offensive.— Reuter. FURTHER SUCCESSES. OF THE POLISH FORCES. (Received June 12, 10.35 a.m.) WARSAW, June 11. Notwithstanding the arrival of reinforcements the battle on tlio Bereshxa resulted in the defeat of the Bolsheviks. The Poles on June 9, advancing to the attack, expelled the enemy from positions beyond the river Auta and. took 500 prisoners. (Received June 12, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. A Warsaw communique states that the Bolshevists have been repulsed and are now withdrawing on the whole front. Fighting is taking place in the territory whence the Bolshevist, offensive started. Three Bolshevist divisions have been practically annihilated.
