OWING TO GERMAN INTRIGUE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Receiver! June 8, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, June 7. It is reported that Persian Democrats besieged the German Consulate at Tabriz on June 4, demanding the surrender of Persian Bolshevists who had taken refuge there. Herr Wnstrow, the Consul, refused ami turned ma-chine-guns on the crowd. The Democrats retaliated, compelling negotiations. It transpired later that Wnstrow had committed suicide.
