Patrons who saw lb last night now know why the Prince enjoyed it so much. Evelyn Nosbit Thaw, world famous after the Thaw‘•Tan f i'-d White case, is featured in the big Fox dramatic masterpiece “The Woman Who Gave,” Evelyn Nesbit is strikingly beautiful and is possessed of groat ability as an actress. Her son, Russell Thaw and Truing Cummings play the principal male parts. The, latest gazettes are also shown. MATINEE FRIDAY, 2.30 p.m. A special matinee on. Friday afternoon, commencing at 2.30, will present handsome Bert Lytoll in his big play “The Lion’s Den.” as well as gazettes, comedy, etc. The usual prices of admission will be charged, EVERYBODY’S. The haunts of crookdom are realistically presented in the new AA’orld film drama, “Crook o’ Dreams,” featuring Louise Fluff iu the role of a kidnapped girl reared amid vicious surroundings. The girl’s mother never despairs of recovering her daughter, hut her reason is threatened as the years pass and- no-, thing is hoard of her. Meanwhile, one of her lawyer’s advertisements, offering a reward for nows of the kidnapped girl, catches the eye of a pickpocket who lives in the same haunt as the girl, and lie persuades her to accompany him and bo handed over ,as the lost one. The lawyer finds his story too thin, but to save the mother’s reason he accepts the .position for the time being. The girl lfj taken to her former home, is recognised by an old nurse, and the story ends with a romantic little interlude in which the lawyer and the girl are the principal and only participants. “Crook o’ Dreams” shows tonight and to-morrow at Everybody’s, and the twelfth episode of “The Lightning Raider” also shows on this programme.
