AUTHORISING THE RAISING OF A SPECIAL LOAN OP £IO,OOO. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, at a Special Meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council hold on the 19th day of April, 1920, the following resolution was passed as a Special Order: — In pursuance of the powers and pro 7 visions contained in “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913,” and ‘‘The Housing Act, 1919,” and of all other powers and provisions contained or implied in any Statute enabling it in that behalf, THE NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL RESOLVES, by way of Special Order, that for the purpose of the erection of Workers’ Dwellings a special loan of £IO,OOO bo raised at a rate of interest of £4 10s per centum per annum, AND THAT tho security for such loan bo an annually recurring special rate of one-ninth of a penny in tho pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of New Plymouth, AND THAT the currency of tho said loan bo a term of 36J years. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of tho said Council, to be held at the offices of the Council, situated in Liardot Street, New Plymouth, on the 17th day of May, 1920, at 7,30 p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order.
