THE PEOPLE’S. “THE WOMAN WHO GAVE” AND “THE YELLOW DOG CATCHER.” To-night’s oig new hill at the People’s presents two very notable pictures. They are “The Yellow Dog Catcher,” the meritorious Sunshine comedy de luxe which was selected in America to grace the Prince of Wales’ special picture programme a few weeks ago. It is said to be one of tho funniest two-reelors in movie history. Evelyn Nesbit Thaw, world-famed beauty and actress, features in “The. Woman Who Gave.” This beautiful and accomplished Win. Fox star plays tho part of an artist’s model in the studios of Paris, where a crippled American artist is painting a masterpiece. A Bulgarian Prince sees this picture before it is finished, and falls in love with the model. Miss Nesbit’s own beauty is world-famous, and this remarkable story gives her unlimited opportunities to show her capabilities as a dramatic star, Tho latest gazettes are also on the bill, which commences at 7.45 each evening. EVERYBODY’S. LAST NIGHT OF “THE CITY OF COMRADES.” A splendid evening's entertainment was provided at Everybody’s last evening. There are six films on the programme, all thoroughly enjoyable, but the best is “The City of Comrades,” founded on a tale, which was recently published in tho New York - Saturday Evening Post. It is a rare and original story. Tom Moore appears as a young man who has drifted down the social scale till ho reaches tho dead bottom. Later his ambition is stirred, by a woman, of course, and lie makes good. "Stingaree” is also showing in the next to last episode. COMING TO-MORROW LOUISE HUFF IN “CROOK O’ DREAMS.” To-morrow and Thursday charming little Louise Huff stars in a World film feature “Crook o’ Dreams,” in which Louise appears in the character of a winsome Jittle “crook.”
