Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a very good entry of both shcei> and cattle at their Feilding sale on April 16. There was a good demand right throughout, and tho following prices were realised : Quotations —Sheep: Cull lambs 6s to Bs lOd; small lambs, 14s 3d to 15s. 9d; very fair lambs, 18s Bd. 19s Id, 19s 3d; good lambs, 21s fid,,22s to 23s 3d; mixed ago empty ewes, 17s fid to 19s; 2-tooth wethers, 31s to 32s 7d. Cattle; 13-month heifers, £3 7s, £3 16s to £4 18s; 18-month steers, £4 12s 6d, £5 7s fid to £5 18s; forward cows, £8 to £8 ss; light fat cows, to £10; bulls, to £lO ss.
