AIR, J. B. HINE AT HUIROA. ... Air. Hino is always assured of a good hearing at Huiroa and 'Thursday night’s meeting proved no exception, when 50 electors assembled to hoar his views on Air. Massey’s policy. Air. A. Logan was appointed chairman. Air. Hinc’s address waft on the lines of his previous speeches. Touching on his opponent’s complaints re tho visit of Cabinet Ministers, lie. explained that he was not responsible, for this. Tho Taumarnnui people were clamouring to get all the Public AVorks energies expended on the eastern end of tho Sfcrat-ford-Oknhukura railway, and requested the A!mister of Public AVorks to visit tho district. As to the Alinistor of Lands, the lion. Air. Guthrio was in tho district as an act of courtesy for tho christening of the new Inglewood county and ho (Air. Hino) would have to accept some i’( iponsibility for this visit, as ho was responsible for the birth of the said county. A vote of thanks to Mr. Hine, and confidence in him and the Alnssev Govern, was moved by Air. Churchill, seconded by Air. Banning, and carried unanimously. After the meeting refreshments were supplied by the ladies. j
