Clyde, Co.-U.) to Lord President of the Court of Session, resulted; — Ford (Coalition Unionist) 9944, Rimciman (Liberal) 8469 Major Grabampolo (Labour) 3808 The by-election for South Edinburgh, due to the appointment of the sitting member (Major C. D. Murray, Co,-U.) as Solicitor-General for Scotland, resulted : Major C. D. Murray (Coalition Unionist) 11,176 Holmes (Liberal) 8,177 —lmperial Service. [The voting in North Edinburgh _at tho general election was: Clyde 11,879, J. Johnston (Liberal) 6986. In South Edinburgh the voting was: Murray 14,864, Caird (Liberal) 4935.]
