THE DOMINION CONGESTION. Per Press Association. FEILDING, April 23. The annual meeting of the Feilding branch of the Farmers’ "Union passed the following resolution: “That this meeting regrets that nothing has been , done to relieve the position regarding 'tho congestion of freezing chambers; also that the Prime Minister be asked why ho has not called a conference of producers, delegates for which were elected many months ago to consider tire congestion of meat in London.” Tho following remit for the provincial conference was passed: 1 ‘That the conference urge-on the Government the need of removing the duty on imported timber, and that the railway rate he the same for local and imported timber.” — »
