A DISPUTE FILED. ■ Per Press Association. "WELLINGTON, April 22. Mr. Mack, secretary of tho A.S.R.S., when asked his opinion on tho reply by Mr. Massoy, as Minister for Railways, said the Government was merely trifling with tho whole position. Tho men had been .going from tho service and were •still going. Tlie service was in a deplorable conditions. He did not know how tho men would take the reply. ‘‘The storm,” he said, ‘‘might hurst at any time.” The A.S.R.S. has filed with the Minister of Railways notice of a dispute, with tho management of the serv ice under tlie Labour Disputes Investigation Act, and the intention is to demand an investigation for tho dispute by a committee of representatives of tlie two parlies to tho dispute. In their demands tlie A.S.R.S. are asking for an all round increase in pay of 2s Gd per day.
