PRICES IN CHRISTCHURCH. Pei - Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 9. The record prices recently received for hides'werp exceeded at the Christchurch sales to-day. Comptition was keen, and the second line submitted, n prime ox hide, reached 24,-d —a. record figure. A considerable proportion went over 23d per lb., and calfskins realised np to 44d for secondary quality. The hides were largely secured by exporters. Horse hides made up to 26s Gd.
