CHILDREN ILL-TREATED. , Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 25. In the Magistrate’s Court this afternoon Charles Grayndlor, secretary of tho Shearets’ Union, was charged with having ill-treated and beaten his three children, aged 8, 11, and 13. Medical evidence showed a bruised head and body, apparently caused by a strap or stick and kicks. There were some bruises accompanied by abrasions and the children were suffering from shock,' but well-ndurished. The case is proceeding.
