ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
KILLED ON RAILWAY LINE. Per Press Association. TAIHAPE, Feb. 23. On Saturday afternoon Patrick Leahy, a retired pioneer citizen ofTaihape, was killed oh the railway. He missed the train at Mat area and decided to walk along the railway line. He was overtaken by a special goods train when nearly through. He was 55 years of ago and leaves a wife, eight sons and three daughters.
