INFLUENZA.

“AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION WORTH A POUND OF CURE ” It has been truly stated that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” 'The New Zealand public arc again face to face with an inliucuza epidemic similar to that which has boon raging in other parts of the world. At such a time it behoves each individual in the community to keep a close watch on himself and maintain the usual standard of health. A dose of Dr. Morse’s Indian Root Pills two or Unco times a week or one or two pills each night is advised. It would also bo advisable to take from 5 to 10 grains of ASPIRIN two or three times daily if feeling out of sorts, or 10 grains of QUININE on retiring at night at the same time the pills are taken. A common cold ran usually he broken up if either QUININE or ASPIRIN is taken with Dr. M orse’s Indian Root Pills as directed on the first indication. Petroleum oils, salts, tonics and other so-called remedies arc of little use to cleanse the system and keep these germs in chock, in fact they will have a tendency to aggravate an already deranged gastric condition. Dr. Morse's Indian Root Pills arc a, searching, eleansing remedy, and will drive those germs out of the system. Should, however, an attack of influenza develop, lose no time in sending for the family doctor and go to bed at once. This is the best advice that can be given. Don’t try to doctor yourself. If you have the real influenza your digestion will ho a wreck, your head, legs and hack will ache your heart action will bo affected, and you will have a temporature. Tlic.se conditions need the attention of a- skilled medical attendant. Ho may continue the treatment indicated alxive or he may not, but it will only bo safe for tho person affected to at once go to bed when tho first definite influenza symptoms appear, and place yourself wholly and" unreservedly in tho doctor’s cars.
