Oreimau, who examined the i body, was of opinion that it was tho I body of a full time natural child, which had breathed, and that death had oc- j currod from asphyxiation. Ethel Victoria Andrew said she was 1 22 years old. Ht’,r parents were dead. She was employed in domestic service. She gave birth to the child on the date mentioned. , The Coroner’s verdict was that the i cause of death was asphyxiation. ) Tho mother was immediately arrest- I ed. She was charged with man- ■ slaughter and remanded till Monday I next.
