WAIPUKURAU SANITORIUM

COMPLAINTS BY PATIENTS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 11. Tho Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association to-night considered a report of delegates who visited the Pukcura Sanatorium, near Waipukurau, to investigate complaints made by patients. Tho report expressed the opinion that great inconvenience and discomfort to patients wore caused by tho occupation of the building before it was completed. Mr. Badger, one of the delegates, said there had been a good deal of complaint about tho place being only half furnished when tho men went in, and they were subjected to needless discomforts. He contended the complaints wore well founded. There should bo more sympathy and less discipline about the place. A motion was passed, approving tbe delegate’s report and regretting that the military authorities, placed patients in the sanatorium before tho building was completed.
