It appears that trouble is brewing owing to some owners’ refusal to sign the new agreement. MELBOURNE, Sept. 23. The Seamen’s Union resolved that unless AValsh is released on Wednesday morning a stop-work meeting will be held, and recommends branches in other States to adopt a similar course. RELEASE OF WALSH. (Received Sept. 24, 10.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 24. Walsh, secretary of the Seamen's Union, has been released, a portion of his sentence having been remitted.
