SYDNEY, Sept. 21. At the Rosehill races the Spring Stakes resulted; Gloaming 1, Wolorai 2, Prince Virdis 8. Gloaming ana Wolorai made a great race. The lormei went ahead 1 at the half-distance and won by a length. Cctigno ran fourth, out Spanner finished in the ruck, lime, Imin. 40)sec. , , , Rosehill Guineas resulted: Elfaero 1, Golden Bubble 2, Artilleryman 3. Thore were fifteen starters, including Rossmi. Won by a head. Time, Imm. o3fsec. Biplane and Bimotor ran unplaced _iu the Camolla Stakes, and Finmark in the Rosehill Handicap. ,vOTAKI RESULTS. Per Press Association. OTAKI, Sept. 20. For the Otaki races there was fine weather, but only a moderate attendance. Results :-c- „ , Maiden Handicap.—l Royal Exchange (A. Reed) 1, 5 Sweet Memoir 2,2 Haeremoana 3. Porvolo lead from the rise of tho barrier, but was shortly replaced by Consultation, who took the lead till entering tho straight, when the horses became well bunched. Also started: 3 Kurapai, 2 Stetson. 7 Deeside, 0 Coldstream, 9 Slumix, 8 Luke. Docside and Kurapai made the pace for some distance, Pawcrewero being last. Want moved up with Luke, followed by Dcosido past the stand. On leaving the straight Pawcrewero bad made up much lost ground and was soon in second place. Slumix and Coldstream then struck heavily, dismounting Tricklebank and Packer. Later, Luke unseated Hunt. Want then came away and won comfortably. Time, 4min. 32 2-ssoe. Memorial Stakes. —1 Rose Pink (C. Emerson) 1, 6 Mascot 2, 4 Pacific Slope 3. Also started: 3 Detroit, 5 Flash Lady, 2 Spangle. Mascot and Detroit made tho running. The latter gave wav on leaving the straight to Spangle, while Flash Lady, Mascot and Rose. Pink were following closely. In the straight the latter moved up, and won nicely by a length. sec. , Stewards’ Hack.—l Cbacroma (A. Reed) 1, 8 Pr in temps 2, 5 Matty 3. Also started; 7 Red Signal, 4 March On, 6 Eulica, 3 Beloved, 2 Arch Lassie, 9 Some Girl. Cbaeronia and Red Signal led the field, followed by Arch Lassie, hi the straight Printemps challenged and an exciting finish resulted with Cbaeronia, who received the judge’s verdict. Flying Handicap.—2 Matatna (D. Morris') 1, 5 Moutoa Ivanova 2, 3 Trcnfham Rose 3. Also started : 1 Astiuomo, 3 Rirkenvnle, 4 Gold Problem.
