FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT,
Per Press Association. * MASTERTON, Sept. 22. j Late yesterday afternoon W. J. Biggs, a motor upholsterer, of Masterton, was killed, at Taratahi as the result of the motor car he, was driving capsizing on the road, through a tyre bursting. Mrs. Biggs was injured internally, Kathleen Biggs, aged 12, had a collarbone broken, while four other of deceased’s children received a severe shaking and minor injuries. , CHILD BURNED TO DEATH. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 27. Ellenie TTodgman, aged 3, was burned to death while asleep in a tent at Kaikoura during her parents absence.
