A meeting of bakers decided to take a ballot on the new offer made by the employers. . The bakers’ strike is extending. Uho meeting, without taking a ballot, rejected the employers’ latest offer, and decided to call out apprentices, pastrycooks, and bread carters on Tuesday.
BAKERS’ DRASTIC ACTION

SYDNEY, Sept. 22. The Bakers’ Union has decided to discontinue supplies of bread for hospitals and asylums.
