RETURNED SOLDIERS
THE AYRSHIRE DRAFT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. Sept. 20. The Ayrshire’s troops disembarked this morning. The voyage was saddened with Private M'Nicholl, of Christchurch, who was lost overboard just before reaching Colon. In midAtlantic a French sailing vessel was found becalmed 140 days fssm port and the crew starving. She was supplied with ample food from the transport . The Southern men left by the express. The men for the Wellington district leave to-night and the men ior Auckland by the Monowai on Monday.
