A WANGANUI INQUEST.

VERDICT OF JURY. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, August 5. The inquest on George A’in cent, who died in hospital on July 20, was resumed this morning and, after hearing farther police evidence, tho following verdict was returned. The cause of death was media stalitis and septic pneumonia, resulting from injuries received. How those injuries were caused there was no evidence to show, hut the physical condition of deceased owing to having been drinking to excess for some timo contributed to his death. A rider was added that there was rot a particle of evidence to show that deceased met with any violence at the hands of the proprietor of tho Aramoho Hotel or any of his employees.
