Air Hugh Fraser, of New iPlymouth, is expected to return to the Dominion by the next trip of the Aloana from San Fraucisgo.

Advice has been received by Mr. F. M. Grayling, of Courtenay Street, that his son, Rijleman Stanley Gi ay ling, is returning on the transport Cordoba, which is'duc to arrive in New Zealand about August 30.

Air. P. Barry, who for tho past three years' has been fields inspector and instructor of the Agricultural Department in this district, has been transferred to the Lands Department as supervisor of the Soldiers’ Settlements under tho jurisdiction of the Taranaki Land Board.
