SOUTH AFRICA.

DUTCH NATIONALISTS. OPPOSE EXISTING GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. (Received August -1, 9.30 a .in.) PRETORIA, August 1. Mr. Roob, chairman of the Transvaal Nationalist Party, and Hertzog’s principal lieutenant, has issued what amounts to an ultimatum, declaring that if the South African Party really desires re-union with the Nationalists General Botha must bo jettisoned, Republicanism must be embraced, and the new party called the South African National Party, which was formed at tho Congress alter tho elections. Among tho matters to ho submitted at tho forthcoming Nationalist Congress are resolutions protesting against the acceptance by the South African Union of tho German South-West Africa mandate. Tho Nationalist press approves tho resolution as showing that a great part of the Africander people is not responsible for this act of spoliation.— Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
