A telegram from Vienna states that the Roumanians again defeated the Hungarians and crossed the River Tisza, near Tiszafured. Three Hungarian regiments laid down their arms, refusing to fight the Roumanians. BUDAPEST, August 2. Bela Kun has resigned. The trade unions have formed a Socialist Government 'with a view to negotiating with the Allies, with Julius Bcicll as Premier. —Router. BUCHAREST, July 31. Tho Roumanians completely defeated the Hungarians at the Theiss, taking many prisoners and much booty.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, July 31. Vienna advices state that the Hungarian Commissary called on the Entente representative, Colonel Cunningham, and suggested that negotiations bo commenced for tho peaceful resignation of tho Soviet Government and the formation of a new government in Hungary. It is reported l that Beidl, on behalf of the Hungarian Cabinet, has made overtures to the Allied representatives at Vienna for recognition of the new Gov-ernment.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, July 31. The Hungarian attack on the Roumanians failed disastrously. The Roumanians, pursuing, took 8000 prisoners westward of the Theiss. The Roumanians have _ driven, tho Hungarians over the Theiss and captured the Szolnsk bridgehead. They are now pursuing tho Hungarians beyond tho liver. SOVIET CABINET RESIGNS.
